Nursery – Learning Overview
EARLY YEARS
Mrs Robinson Nursery Teacher
The Early Years provides the roots and foundations to a child’s knowledge and attitude towards their learning. It is therefore a crucial part of their educational journey. We believe that at Norbury Hall, we provide an engaging and safe environment for all the pupils in our care to grow and develop. We feel that it is essential to provide a learning environment that helps to shape the whole child and helps to develop their characteristics of learning.
At Norbury Hall, we have 40-place nursery for 3-4 year olds. We offer 15 hours a week, working on a two and a half day basis. We provide a fun and exciting environment linked to the Early Years curriculum. We are blessed with fantastic grounds here at Norbury Hall and use our outdoor classroom as much as the inside one.
We strive to keep you aware of what is happening on a weekly basis at nursery and what topics your child is learning about. We will do this online through a weekly newsletter and Tapestry. We also love hearing about your child’s experiences and achievements from outside of nursery.
