To bring this project to life, the School Council collaborated with a graphic designer, who transformed the children’s logo ideas into a finalised design.
Together, as a group, we also discussed and identified the key principles of being a Mindful Mover. The School Council organised a special assembly for students and teachers to introduce and explain the Mindful Movers project. |
How to be mindful when you're moving
Thoughtful voices
Instead of shouting like superheroes, let's talk in soft tones. Indoor voices are like whispers that help keep our ears cozy. Use our hands
Let's give those doors a friendly 'hello' with our hands! When we're at a door, we can use our hands to open it gently. |
Keep to the left
Let's remember to stay on the left side. It's like following the same path together, so we don't bump into each other. Passing the door on
When we're walking through a door, let's be polite and take turns. If someone's already going through, we can wait patiently and let them pass first. |
Look around us
When we see someone we know, it's nice to say hello! Saying 'hello' is like giving a little wave of kindness. Let's use our eyes and ears to notice things. |
