Dear Parents and Carers, The children have thoroughly enjoyed our book fortnight; sharing lots of stories brought in from home and especially dressing up as their favourite book characters! Thank you! Through our story this week, “I can eat a rainbow”, the children really enjoyed making ‘fruity kebabs’. With a maths focus, we added ‘one more’ piece of fruit onto the skewer then ate the fruit one by one learning ‘one less’. It was very tasty! In our expressive arts and design, the children have absolutely loved creating new colours from primary colours and white. Their delight at making new colours has been a pleasure to observe, as they wonder what other colours they could make! In nursery, the children always enjoy playing some of the early years games on our interactive whiteboard using a programme called Education City. Please find the details below so you can play along at home! https://www.educationcity.com Click on Subjects, then select English Maths or Science. Then EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
