Primary Sports Coaching Easter Holiday Course

Dear parents and carers of Norbury Hall Primary School,

Primary Sports Coaching Limited are delighted to be running our established multi sports holiday course at Norbury Hall Primary School this Easter Holidays.

The course will be led by PSCL’s coaching team who work everyday in primary schools delivering Lunchtime Sports, After School Clubs and PE Lessons.

Jordan Fletcher will be leading the course. Jordan is qualified sports coach and can normally be found delivering sports sessions at St Pauls Primary School in Withington. Jordan will be supported by Amy Shipton who the children will know from lunchtime sessions and after school club at Norbury Hall Primary School.

Our ethos is to provide a fun and exciting experience for all children that attend our holiday clubs. We want every child to experience a variety of sports and help them create a lifelong love of sport and physical activity. PSCL Holiday Courses are a registered Ofsted provider, all of our settings are on the Voluntary part of the childcare register.

Boys and Girls aged 5 – 12 years old can attend PSCL Holiday Courses. Children currently in reception can attend specific courses from 9am – 12.45pm. They are not able to access our early drop off.

Times and Prices of Courses
Children can be dropped off from 9am. Children can be collected from 3.30pm.
Standard Day – £24
Reception Child Day – £14

Sibling Discount
Discounts are available for siblings attending together. Please use discount code ‘SIBLING25’ to reduce the cost to £21 per child per day.

Wrap Around Care
Early drop off – 8am – 8.55am = £4 per child, per morning
Stay and Play – 3.30pm – 5pm = £5 per child, per afternoon
Courses generally begin with warm up exercises and games, before progressing to the delivery, introduction and enhancement of specific skills aimed at improving your child’s ability. Each session concludes with competitive games for all to enjoy!
During a week at a PSCL multi sports course the children will play the following sports and games:

• Basketball
• Cricket
• Hockey
• Tennis
• Netball
• Dodgeball
• Rounders
• Football
• Athletics
• Target Games And much, much more…

On the final day of the courses the children will take part in an Olympic style competition. There are medals for the successful teams and individuals which are presented at the end of week presentation. Every child will receive a PSCL certificate, trophies and medals are awarded to recognise excellent efforts and achievement.

PSCL Coaching Team
All the coaches at PSCL are recruited using our stringent ‘Safer Recruitment’ process. Our coaches are trusted by over 25 schools every week to teach sports, dance and gymnastics and help more children, be more active, more often.
All Primary Sports Coaching Limited coaches will:

• Be Enhanced DBS checked
• Be trained in Paediatric First Aid (12 hour course) at least once every three years
• Hold relevant sports coaching qualifications
• Be trained in safeguarding at least once every year
• Be trained in GDPR at least every two years
• All coaches undergo regular in house CPD and health and safety training
• Undertake the following online courses; Prevent, ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and FGM (Female Genital Mutilation).
  
  

Our coaches will endeavour to ensure all the children attending have a fun time, staying active in a safe environment.
