Bringing the outdoors in and engaging children in unique learning experiences forms an integral component of our school’s creative learning offer. 
​Our outdoor learning experiences support and enrich pupils’ learning and they help enhance individual and group skills through adaptable curriculum linked learning activities.  They support learning offering opportunities for both physical, cooperative and emotional development.

Our weekly Discovery sessions provide the opportunity for children to work outside the conventional constraints of the classroom, to explore their natural environment through curriculum focused lesson planning, all within the engagement and safety of the specially developed outdoor classrooms.

Our outdoor learning activities are also adapted to accommodate children with additional needs, matching individual learning requirements and enabling a child’s unique preferences to be accommodated.
​
Encouraging child led learning helps encourage individual learning, engagement and ownership.  Ultimately this provides a holistic and supportive environment in which learning can take place.
