School Uniform Guidelines
The wearing of school uniform is encouraged and gives children a sense of identity and belonging, as well as being comfortable and practical. It also raises the pupil’s image in the community. We are proud of our children's behaviour and achievements, and want their appearance to reflect these high standards.
Basic Uniform
Cardigans, sweatshirts, polo shirts, fleeces and showerproof jackets with an embroidered logo and the school name can be purchased from the School Office which is provided by a local supplier price list included (this option is available to buy on-line as well) or from www.yourschooluniform.com Please compare prices before purchasing. Uniform can be purchased from a variety of retailers without the logo on, to make it more cost effective.
Children should not wear nail varnish, make up or jewellery. For children with pierced ears they may wear small gold or silver coloured stud earrings. The children should be able to take out their earrings and replace them independently on
PE days. Long hair should be tied up for PE sessions too.
Footwear
Children are asked to wear sensible black, flat shoes or sandals. Fashion footwear with high heels is a safety hazard and not suitable for school. Trainers should only be worn for games lessons.
